GUD & TRIDENT STEEL IN-KIND DONATION
Child Welfare Durban & District welcomed representatives from G.U.D. Holdings and Trident Steel to our offices at 20 Clarence Road and received a donation of R50,000 toward our mission of “Giving Childhood Back to Children.”
SAMCT INKIND DONATION
Child Welfare Durban & District extends its deepest gratitude to the South African Muslim Charitable Trust (SAMCT) for their extraordinary and generous donation of six vehicles and ten laptops to support our ongoing operations and community services. We offer our heartfelt thanks to SAMCT, whose visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to social upliftment continue to make a profound impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families in our care.

Child Welfare Durban & District extends its deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to the Willowton Group for their extraordinary and consistent support.
Month after month, the Willowton Group provides exceptionally generous donations of essential food items, including cooking oil, butter, rice, margarine, and a variety of other vital provisions. These regular contributions are a true cornerstone of our daily operations, directly supporting our residential homes and ensuring that the vulnerable children and youth in our care are provided with wholesome, nutritious meals every single day.
We are profoundly thankful to the leadership and team at Willowton Group for their unwavering commitment to our community. Their dependable partnership significantly eases our operational burdens and helps us maintain a stable, nurturing environment for every child who calls our homes their own.
NATIONAL LOTTERIES COMMISSION
Child Welfare Durban & District extends its heartfelt gratitude to the National Lotteries Commission (NLC) for their exceptionally generous donation of a 7-seater Toyota Rumion and five laptops.
This vital contribution significantly strengthens our operational mobility and technological infrastructure, directly empowering our social work teams and administrative staff to reach and support vulnerable children and families across our communities more efficiently. We thank the National Lotteries Commission for their continued partnership and commitment to our mission of giving childhood back to children.
SHIPWRECKERS Donation
On 30 October 2025, Shipwreckers Durban, Umhlanga, generously presented a donation of R50,000 to Lakehaven Children’s Home. Representatives gathered for a formal handover ceremony, proudly displaying the ceremonial check while supporters looked on and applauded this significant contribution toward supporting vulnerable children.
