All reports are handled with confidentiality and urgency by our trained social workers. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your nearest police station or the Department of Social Development as well.

Families and children in need of assistance can reach out directly to our offices. Our social workers will assess each case and connect you with the right service — whether it’s counselling, family reunification, foster care support, or emergency intervention.

We welcome individuals who wish to make a difference. Volunteers assist in various ways — from community outreach and fundraising to skills development and awareness campaigns.

Yes, Child Welfare Durban and District is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). All qualifying donations are tax-deductible under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act. Donation receipts can be provided upon request.

We serve Durban and surrounding communities within the eThekwini District. Through outreach programmes and partnerships, our work reaches families in both urban and rural areas.

We actively collaborate with corporates, schools, and community groups that share our commitment to child welfare. Partnerships may include sponsorships, staff volunteer days, training initiatives, or awareness campaigns.
